What if it started with a quiet moment…
A soft nuzzle from a horse…
The feel of bare feet in the grass…
The space to just be — without expectations?
At Sorli Farm Therapeutic Barn, we offer grounded, horse-led experiences that help both kids and adults reconnect with safety, belonging, and themselves.
We’re not here to diagnose or fix.
We’re here to create the kind of space where people feel safe enough to breathe again.
This work is rooted in the nervous system — and in real life.
We blend non-riding horsemanship, nervous system education, and outdoor movement to support:
As a licensed riding instructor, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, and nervous system educator, my approach is shaped by both personal experience and professional training. I grew up in foster care. I’ve lived in survival mode. And for the last 15+ years, I’ve helped people feel strong and whole through movement, food, and now — horses.
This fall, we’re planning an event just for therapists, social workers, and helpers. Space is limited and details to come.
If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to be cared for without needing to perform, stay tuned. Want to be the first to know? Click book discovery call or email dana@reachathletics.com to be added to the mailing list.
Until then — Sorli Farm is here for anyone who needs to catch their breath.
Because the first step forward isn’t always effort.
Sometimes, it’s finally feeling safe enough to stop bracing.
