We’re a small, values-driven team focused on creating safe, grounded spaces where kids and families can reconnect with themselves through animals, movement, nature, and nervous system-informed support. Our backgrounds span equine instruction, functional nutrition, nervous system education, and trauma-informed care. But more than credentials, we bring presence, patience, and lived experience. At Sorli Farm, we meet each participant where they are and walk alongside them as trust, regulation, and confidence take root.
At Sorli Farm Therapeutic Barn, we combine professional training with lived experience to offer meaningful, nervous system-informed care. Our team is grounded in trauma-informed principles, equine-assisted learning, and functional nutrition — all delivered through a relational lens.
We believe real growth happens in safe, spacious environments where children and families can slow down, connect, and build trust at their own pace. Whether we’re working with a child in the barn or a parent in a nutrition session, our goal is the same: to support regulation, resilience, and a deep sense of belonging.
Dana Fouche
Nutritional Therapy Practitioner · MA Licensed Horse Instructor · Nervous System Educator · Polyvagal Equine Institute (In Progress)
Dana is the founder of Sorli Farm Therapeutic Barn and the heart behind its mission. She brings together professional training, lived experience, and a deep belief in the healing power of movement, nature, and connection.
Growing up in Idaho, Dana loved all things farm and horses. She and her brothers were placed in separate foster homes — and the time she spent visiting them on a mountain ranch became an early source of healing after being abandoned by her mother at a young age. Those moments laid the foundation for the work she does today.
Dana has over 15 years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach and nutritionist. She is a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, a licensed horse instructor in Massachusetts, and is currently completing her certification as a Certified Equine Interaction Professional in Education (CEIP-ED).
Her first business began in the gym space, where she helped people connect with their bodies through movement and nourishment. Now, as a mother of two living on her husband’s fifth-generation family farm, Dana is proud to offer those same healing modalities — grounded in science, relationship, and care — to children and families in need of nervous system support and safe connection.
